THE FLORA HOME

Villa located in the city of Bangalore, the design intent was to create a home with simple yet elegant building form. A single family dwelling unit which provides great opportunity to connect the indoors and the outdoor with the use of architecture. 

 

The building facade is created using perforated metal panels to block the southern sunlight and also to achieve a pixelated image of the hustle and bustle of a city like Bangalore when viewed from the interiors. The 2 storeyed house contains a central courtyard which acts as a focal point with views to most of the rooms and functional spaces across the house.

The 4 bedroom unit is designed to achieve maximum daylighting and light color shade in the  interiors to enhance the volume of the space.
